Learn Square Dancing!

Do you want to learn to square dance?  Have you seen square dancing somewhere and thought it looked like fun?

Modern Square Dancing is a blast!  The caller gives the calls, and you dance them.  It’s mentally stimulating, analytical, kinesthetic, social and fun!

To dance with an existing group of square dancers, you must take a series of lessons to learn the calls.  Classes can start at various times in the year, but most often they start in September or after the New Year.

The Tam Twirlers in Marin County holds classes periodically for people to try square dancing.
